Dr. Chau Chak Wing met with representatives from Australian charities in Sydney on the 21st of May 2019. He was awarded $280,000 in damages after winning his Federal Court defamation case. He will be "donating the damages awarded by Justice Wigney in full to a number of charities supporting Australian veterans and their families."
