Dr Chau donated $5 million to create an endowment fund for scholarships which provide an opportunity for Australian students to study in China, and Chinese students to study at UTS. The program recognises high-achieving students from both countries by providing them with a life-changing opportunity to expand their knowledge and establish lifelong relationships. Recipients of Dr Chau Chak Wing Scholarships become members of the prestigious alumni network known as the Dr Chau Chak Wing Scholars Network.
